Graduate Send-Off Days will help prepare prospective December 2024, May 2025, and August 2025 graduates with requirements for commencement and the bar exam (bar exam info refers to JD/LLM only).

Graduates will check in at Station 1 first and receive further instruction. The requirements for this second step in the commencement preparation process are listed below.

Station 1

• DJK Reception Desk
• Complete ABA Graduate Employment Survey (JD/LLM only). You are encouraged to complete the ABA Graduate Employment Survey beforehand, but if you have not completed it, this can be done on Send-Off Days. 
• If you have not secured post-graduation employment, sign up for your career advisor appointment at lawcareers@wayne.edu. (JD/LLM)

Station 2

• Learn about the free JD Advising Supplemental Bar Preparation Program for Wayne Law Graduates (JD/LLM only)
• DJK Center Lobby

Station 3

• Sign the Class of 2025 banner and get Wayne Law swag!
• DJK Center Lobby

Station 4

• Pick up your cap and gown

Station 5

• If you have not done so already, record your name for the Commencement reading (phonetic spelling and audio)
• This step ensures your name is pronounced correctly as you walk across the stage to get your diploma.

• Pick up your cords if eligible. (JD only)
• Pick up your Commencement tickets.
