Explore your options
As a Wayne Law student, you have exciting employment options with law firms, corporations, public interest organizations, government offices, courts, and more. You can also gain experience with a Wayne Law clinic, through an externship, as a research assistant for law faculty, or as a volunteer through the law school's Pro Bono & Public Interest Program.
As you apply for positions, we urge you to cast a wide net. If your employment focus is too narrow, you may miss out on great opportunities.

Employment reporting
Each year, the Office of Career Success tracks graduate employment at-graduation, as well as at 10 months post-graduation. This data is reported to both the American Bar Association (ABA) and the National Association for Law Placement (NALP), and is subject to auditing by the ABA. Accurate and timely reporting is paramount to maintaining accreditation for the Law School. Prior to participating in graduation, students can expect to receive a survey from the office collecting this required information.
