Winter Wishes
As the holiday season approaches, the Legal Advocacy for People with Cancer (LAPC) Clinic invites you to support the Winter Wishes project. We are aiming to give thirteen clinic clients and their families winter necessities, home goods, books, and other gifts this season.
Winter Wishes is an annual project of the Law School's LAPC Clinic and is now accepting your support for this adopt-a-family program. All recipients are individuals diagnosed with cancer and their supportive family members who could sure use a little warmth this winter season.
You can contribute by purchasing gifts and necessities requested by the LAPC clients and their families via an Amazon wish list. You may also donate money via Venmo (@WinterWishes2023) or via a scheduled drop-off. Please contact Erin Oleszczak to coordinate.
Wish Lists
You can donate items by purchasing a gift from one of the curated Amazon Wish Lists below. Winter Wishes will accept donations purchased via the wish lists now through Monday, November 27, 2023. Gifts are not tax-deductible.
Law School staff and faculty generously donated their homes to "host" gifts until they can be safely distributed to the families. When you purchase gifts from the wish lists, items will be shipped to a WSU host who will ensure gifts are then given to the clients and their families.
