Rishawnda Archie

• Biography

  Rishawnda serves as an Assistant Director for Diversity Outreach at Wayne State University Law School-Office of Admissions. Prior to starting at Wayne Law, she served as an Assistant Director for Cultural and Social Justice Programming at Illinois State University. During her professional career, she has been a strong advocate for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-racism in her varies roles in Higher Education. She is passionate about amplifying the voices of students who are forced to live on the margins. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Saginaw Valley State University in Criminal Justice and Master of Science from Eastern Illinois University in Higher Education.

  In her spare time, she serves on the Central Region Fitness Committee for Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. and has a goal to compete in a body building competition in the future.
