Jill Burnette-Maurice

• Biography

  Jill Burnette-Maurice joined the Wayne Law Admissions office in May 2018 and is the director of admissions.

  Prior to joining Wayne Law, she worked at a small law firm with a focus on bankruptcy law and estate planning, and also worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.

  During her time as a Wayne Law student, she served as a student ambassador in the Admissions and Student Affairs offices, held an executive board position on the Student Board of Governors, and was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus. She was also a student attorney in the Transnational Environment Law Clinic.

  Burnette-Maurice earned her Master of Business Administration in marketing from Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business and her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
