The DEB Faculty Committee is charged with collaborating with various stakeholders, including the Dean’s Office, Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Admissions, and others, on initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The committee works to develop recommendations and provide consultation to the Academic Affairs & Curriculum Committee in reviewing courses for the cross-cultural lawyering requirement.

In 2022, Wayne Law welcomed their inaugural Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity & Belonging, Associate Professor of Law Nancy Chi Cantalupo, to lead and ensure the achievement of an inclusive and equitable law school community.
