Membership
Membership on The Journal of Law in Society is limited to Wayne Law students who are currently enrolled or in the process of transferring to Wayne Law from another law school. Each member must be in good academic standing throughout the duration of their membership and must have completed the first-year Legal Research and Writing course, or its equivalent at another law school, before becoming a member.
First-year members join JLS as associate editors. Upon successful completion of their tenure as associate editors, first-year members may choose to remain with JLS for a second year by applying for a position on the JLS executive board.
