Heather Buck

Biography
Heather Buck joined the Wayne State University Law School faculty in 2024. She also works at JD Advising, Inc. a law school tutoring and bar exam preparation company. She is licensed to practice law in Michigan and also passed the California Bar Exam.
Heather is a full-time tutor and course instructor at JD Advising, and has been helping guide students through law school and to pass the bar exam since 2018. Heather provides tutoring for all 1L law school classes, some upper level law school classes, the Uniform Bar Exam, and the California Bar Exam. She also teaches the bar prep courses for the Uniform Bar Exam and California Bar Exam, as well as many of JD Advising’s supplemental programs.
Prior to her work at JD Advising, Heather served as in-house counsel at a small mortgage company, and also clerked for several judges on the Wayne County Circuit Court. She graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 2012.
