  • Biography

    Daimeon joined the Wayne State University Law School faculty in 2025. He earned a law degree from Wayne State University Law School and a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Wayne State University. As an attorney and dispute resolution professional, he participates in mediation and arbitration. He serves as a Hearing Officer for Non-Union employee disputes at the City of Detroit. He earned a Certificate of Training in Civil Mediation. He has served as a mediator at the Wayne Mediation Center and the 36th District Court.

    He has been recognized as one of the top attorneys in my practice area by Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Stars, America’s Top 100 Bet-the-Company Litigators and The National Black Lawyers Top 100 as a top attorney under age 40 in Michigan. He has written and presented on workplace issues involving state and federal law. His work has been published by institutions such as The Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE), which is a leading institution for continuing legal education for lawyers. He has appeared on WHPR TV 33 Comcast television to discuss employment topics such as discrimination, retaliation and sexual harassment in the workplace. He appeared on “Your Best Chance, With Judge Nance” with Radio Superstation 910AM to inform the public about their rights and legal options during the global pandemic.

    He enjoys serving the community. He served on the Board of Trustees for Crossroads of Michigan, a non-profit organization that provides social services, food services, and other programs for anyone in need. He served on the Board of Directors for the Wolverine Bar Association (where he served as Chair of the Mentorship Committee for 2 years), which is an organization of African American attorneys coalesced to address pressing legal and political issues. He received a Certificate of Recognition from Michigan Community Resources for his work involving nuisance abatement of properties in the City of Detroit.
