  • Biography

    Michael Brady is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School and currently serves as Chief Legal Director for Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and the Michigan Department of State. In this role, he oversees the Legal Services Administration and provides counsel to the Secretary, the Bureau of Elections, and various departmental programs.

    Before joining the Michigan Department of State, Michael served as General Counsel for the Detroit Land Bank Authority and, earlier, as Vice President of Policy for the Center for Community Progress, a national nonprofit focused on urban redevelopment in partnership with local governments.

    While at Wayne Law, Michael also earned a Graduate Certificate in Economic Development through Wayne State University’s Department of Geography and Urban Planning.

    A proud Detroit resident, Michael is dedicated to his community and enjoys raising his family to share his passion for Detroit City FC.
