Dear Wayne Law Community, 

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Wayne Law Professor and Director of the Disability Law Clinic, David Moss, on Sunday, August 11, 2024.  

Our hearts go out to Professor Moss's wife and their three children, and all who knew and loved him. Within our Wayne Law community, Professor Moss was universally beloved, and an important, thoughtful, and consistent voice for what was right and good.  

Professor Moss’s devotion to the school, the clinical community, and the profession was matched only by his generosity and big heart. His passing leaves a significant void in our community. 

According to Professor Moss’s family, there are no formal services planned at this time. When more information becomes available, it will be shared, however, this may not be for some time.
