BLSA celebrates Black History Month
The Black Law Students Association at Wayne Law hosted events throughout February in celebration of Black History Month.
On Feb. 19, the organization hosted a panel of law partners who discussed their backgrounds, pathways to partnership and tips for young lawyers and students. Guest speakers included: Michelle Crockett '00, Miller Canfield; Chauncey Mayfield, Honigman; and Boyd White III, Dykema.
On Feb. 20, they invited judges who specialize in business litigation, torts and criminal law to chat with students. Guest speakers included: Michelle Crockett '00, Miller Canfield; Chauncey Mayfield, Honigman; and Boyd White III, Dykema.
BLSA closed out the month with its annual Soul Food Café. This year’s highly anticipated lunch was catered by JimBob's BBq.
