  • Biography

    Kristina Dunne has always practiced criminal defense, starting at the old Misdemeanor Defender’s Office in 36th District Court and the State Appellate Defender’s Office. She formerly taught Criminal Appellate Practice as an Adjunct Professor at Wayne Law. She spent a couple decades in private practice representing a wide range of clients in the trial and appellate courts.

    She has practiced in almost every County in the State and has appeared numerous times in the Michigan Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. She has represented several juvenile clients who have been resentenced to terms of years after initially receiving life sentences. She has presented and lectured for both the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan and the Michigan Assigned Counsel System.

    She is now a felony trial attorney, representing juvenile and adult clients, at the Livingston County Public Defender’s Office -fulfilling her lifelong dream to practice in the trial court every day.
