J.D. program

Wayne Law offers three program options for the first year of study to meet the various needs of a diverse student body. They include a full-time day program, a combined day and evening program, and a part-time evening program.

LL.M. program

Lawyers who already have earned a J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school or an equivalent degree in another country and satisfy Wayne Law's LL.M. admissions criteria are eligible to undertake advanced legal studies for a master of laws (LL.M.) degree at Wayne Law. The Law School offers courses in three areas. They include corporate and finance law, labor and employment law, and taxation.

Online Master of Studies in Law

Wayne State University Law School's online Master of Studies in Law (MSL) degree is specifically designed to help professionals in human resources and health care expand their knowledge of legal principles and the U.S. legal system.

Bachelor of Arts in Law

Wayne State's B.A. in Law degree combines the strengths of law, political science, philosophy, criminal justice, and other law-related subjects. Students will emerge from this robust program with a strong foundation in logical and critical thinking skills, reading comprehension and analysis, oral and written communication skills, and other hallmarks of "thinking like a lawyer." The degree is a collaboration of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Law School, offering students the opportunity to complete law courses taught by law school faculty in the law school. Successful graduates will be competitive for law-adjacent employment opportunities in a variety of industries, or for continuation of graduate studies.
