DETROIT "" On Wednesday, Jan. 18, three Wayne State University Law School student organizations hosted a panel discussion on the current state of transgender rights in the United States. Panelists were Jay Kaplan, Wayne Law class of 1985, LGBT Legal Project staff attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan and Lilianna Angel Reyes, program services director for Affirmations. The event was sponsored by Wayne OUTlaws, the Wayne Law chapter of If/When/How and Wayne Law's American Civil Liberties Union, Student Chapter.
