Fourth Annual Jaffe Transactional Law Invitational
Jaffe Transactional Law Invitational
March 25, 20212
Wayne State University Law School
The Jaffe Transactional Law Invitational offers law students the opportunity to develop drafting, negotiating, and counseling skills, with teams representing either the buyer or seller in a complex acquisition. Teams of two will draft and revise a transactional agreement as well as mark up the opposing counsel’s draft. Teams will then compete in live negotiations judged by transactional attorneys. Virtual and in-person options will be available.
The program is supported by the Jaffe Transactional Law Competition Fund, established in 2018 by Michigan-based law firm Jaffe Raitt Heuer and Weiss.
Problem release: January 14, 2022
