 Clinical Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the Damon J. Keith Law Collection of African-American Legal History, was among the 65 professionals selected to participate in Leadership Detroit's Class XXIX.

Over 1,600 regional leaders have completed the program including such notables as Governor Jennifer Granholm, White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, Detroit Police Chief Ella Bully-Cummings and DTE Energy Vice Chairman Stephen Ewing.

"Leadership Detroit regularly attracts the finest leaders from around the Detroit Region," said Dick Blouse Jr., President and CEO, Detroit Regional Chamber. "This year was no exception."

Founded in 1979, Leadership Detroit provides the foundation for a lifelong commitment to leadership by creating awareness of key issues that affect the Detroit Region and challenges emerging and existing community leaders to bring about positive change in the community through informed leadership.
