Employment Data Show High Numbers

July 23, 2007

Wayne State University Law School is pleased to announce that the unofficial numbers for employment of our 2006 graduates nine months after graduation show an employment rate of over 90%.  These figures are comparable with the School’s typical rates and confirm that acknowledged administrative errors led to inaccurate reporting of employment data for the Class of 2005 (used in the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings of law schools).  Dean Wu said, “It remains crucial for us to maintain high rates of placement as well as accurate reporting of data, and we ask that all recent graduates complete the survey about their employment when they are given the opportunity to do so.”
