Business and corporate law is a dynamic field providing opportunities to engage with today’s complex globalized markets through a variety of perspectives. Transactional lawyers help businesses organize their enterprises, negotiate mergers and acquisitions, develop financing strategies and access investors and lenders through the capital markets. Corporate litigators deal with a range of issues, from lawsuits generated by hostile offers to the rights of investors against securities issuers. They also defend corporations and executives in civil and criminal investigations and prosecutions. Tax lawyers provide critical advice and litigation assistance on rules and regulations central to individual and business financial issues.
