30th annual I. Goodman Cohen Lecture in Trial Advocacy

Judge Joan E. Young, '74, of the Sixth Circuit Court in Oakland County, will deliver the 30th annual I. Goodman Cohen Lecture in Trial Advocacy. Her topic will be "Oral Advocacy and Pretrial Practice." Commentators will be: Dean M. Googasian, '97, of The Googasian Firm PC Moneka L. Sanford, '03, of the Law Offices of Moneka L. Sanford PLLC Lunch will be provided. The I. Goodman Cohen Lecture Series was established by the family of the late I. Goodman Cohen, a prominent trial lawyer who was active in the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, known today as the Michigan Association for Justice.

In recognition of LSAC's Discover Law campaign 100 high school students from Pershing High School will spend the day learning about a career in law.  There will be a tour of the law school, tour of campus and a Discover Law presentation and activity.
