- Professor of Law Peter Henning was quoted in a Wall Street Journal Law Journal column by John R. Emshwiller about the uncertainty regarding what investigators can and cannot do when searching digital devices for evidence. "‘Courts are struggling' in the area of computer searches," Henning is quoted as a saying in the article. He goes on to say "the Supreme Court has to deal with this."

- Distinguished Professor of Law Robert Sedler explained in an op-ed for the Detroit Free Press why government rationing of health care would be unconstitutional. He wrote, "Government rationing of health care would be not only completely contrary to American values but also clearly unconstitutional." Sedler contends, however, that none of the plans before Congress would conceivably allow such things.
