Professor of Law Erica Beecher-Monas was asked by Ontario Province to participate in two roundtables that will report on guiding principles for forensic pathology testimony in child deaths on Feb. 15 and Feb. 21, 2008.
Assistant Professor of Law Jocelyn Benson spoke on Jan. 27, 2008, at the APIA Vote Norman Y. Mineta Leadership Institute conference in Dearborn. Her speech was entitled "Major Voting Rights and Election Reform Issues Facing the APIA Community in 2008."
She spoke on Feb. 2, 2008, on a judicial panel in Washtenaw County with former Attorney General Candidate Amos Williams on the current status of standing issues in the Michigan Supreme Court.

Professor of Law John Mogk wrote a letter to the editor of the Michigan Bar Journal titled "Take a Closer Look at ‘Recent Changes in Eminent Domain Law'" that was published in the January 2008 edition of the Journal.

Distinguished Professor of Law Robert Sedler wrote an article in the Wayne Law Review, Survey Issue, "The Constitution, the Courts and the Common Law."
He also wrote an op-ed piece in the Detroit Free Press titled "Other points of view: Unless convicted, mayor should not resign" on Feb. 2, 2008.
