Professor of Law Kingsley Browne book Co-ed Combat: The New Evidence That Women Shouldn't Fight the Nation's Wars was published by Sentinel (Penguin USA), Nov. 8, 2007.

On Oct. 4, 2007, he spoke on "Cohesion and Trust" at the Twelfth Annual Center for Military Readiness Celebration in Washington, D.C., at which he received "The CMR Spotlight Award" for his book, Co-ed Combat.

Assistant Professor of Law Noah Hall co-authored a report (with Wayne Law alumnus Bret B. Stuntz) titled "Climate Change and Great Lakes Water Resources" for the National Wildlife Federation.

He spoke at the University of Toledo College of Law - Great Lakes Water Conference (Toledo, Ohio, Nov. 16, 2007) on the topic of invasive species in the Great Lakes.

He was invited to testify before the Michigan Senate Environment and Natural Resources Committee (Lansing, Mich., Nov. 14, 2007) on the Great Lakes Compact and public trust doctrine.

He gave a presentation at the Chicago Humanities Festival - Climate of Concern (held at Loyola University, Chicago, Nov. 10, 2007) on the topic of "Governing the Great Lakes."

Assistant Professor (Clinical) Dana Roach Thompson participated, as a member of the Governor's Emerging Small Business Leaders Council, in a forum sponsored by the Council titled "The Ultimate Insurance and Bonding Forum" on Nov. 9, 2007.

She is a member of and was on the planning committee of the E2 Detroit Entrepreneurship Conference which took place Oct. 1-2, 2007.

She will serve on the advisory committee for an arts incubator called "Arts Impact" established by Dean Sharon Vasquez, Dean of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts.
