Experiential learning

Experiential learning is the process of learning through experience. At Wayne Law we provide a variety of offerings designed to help students apply the theories or skills that they have learned in the classroom to a real lawyering context.

Live-client clinics, externships and simulation courses allow students to choose from a variety of ways to gain experience. In each of these courses, students are given opportunities to gain as well as practice lawyering skills accompanied by informative feedback and reflection on their own performance.

A diverse group of full-time faculty and experienced practitioners brings their expertise to our many experiential offerings. All are committed to providing every Wayne Law student the opportunity to develop the skills of law practice.

The pages in this section detail each type of experiential offering at Wayne Law.
