Class of 2011 Career Statistics

The ABA’s Young Lawyers Division has adopted the Truth in Law School Education resolution, urging law schools to provide more information to applicants regarding the cost of legal education and the jobs and salaries of graduates. In particular, the YLD asked that we post on our websites a breakdown of the percentages of graduates in full-time, part-time and temporary positions, and distinguish between the salaries of graduates obtaining different types of employment.

At Wayne Law, we are pleased to support the resolution and provide students with more useful information regarding employment statistics. We have tried to be as comprehensive as possible in the below, leaving blanks only where the data would not be meaningful (e.g., “average” salaries for part-time positions) or where there are so few graduates reporting that disclosure might be an invasion of privacy.

Below, you will find our complete National Association of Law Placement Employment report. At the end of that report, you will find our most recent American Bar Association placement summary.

2011 Career Stats: 83.9% of our 2011 graduates seeking employment were successful in obtaining a job within nine months after graduation.
