DETROIT (July 16, 2009) – Wayne State University Law School is pleased to announce an admissions event, “Choosing the Law School Path,” from 5-7 p.m. July 22, 2009, in the Law School’s Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium.
This event welcomes those interested in learning more about applying to law school. Attendees will learn the ins and outs of the law school application process through topics such as LSAT study strategies, preparing a personal statement, choosing the right school, letters of recommendation and more.
"The presentation provides a wealth of information about the application process to help prospective students prepare a competitive application and strategy for admission to law school,” said Felicia Thomas, director of Recruitment and Enrollment. "One of the highlights of our job is meeting individuals early on in the process and then having the pleasure of welcoming successful applicants into the incoming class."
Added third-year student and Admissions student ambassador Fallon Yaldo, “The admissions process can be challenging and overwhelming. Attending this type of information session with our friendly and helpful Admissions staff can alleviate many fears, answer common questions and dispel many misconceptions about the law school application process.”
