David Marvin '76
, was recently honored with the Leo A. Farhat Outstanding Attorney Award at the Ingham County Bar Association's 119th annual dinner. Marvin has practiced law in the Lansing office of Fraser Trebilcock for more than 37 years. His reputation as a skilled attorney and efficient problem-solver has helped him to develop an impressive national client base and has earned him many honors. Throughout much of his career, he has devoted time and energy to bar association activities, serving as president of the Ingham County Bar Association, president of the Young Lawyers Section of the ICBA, president of the Pro Bono Lawyers Service, chairman of the State Bar's Administrative Law Section, chairman of the ICBA's Administrative Law Section, delegate to the State Bar's Representative Assembly, chairman of four State Bar committees and chairman of at least 10 ICBA committees. In addition, Marvin has devoted his energy and resources to numerous community service organizations, including terms on the boards of directors of the East Lansing Educational Foundation, the Impression Five Science Center, the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Michigan Audubon Society, the Rotary Club of Lansing, the Boy Scouts of America, the Downtown Coaches Club, Friends of Michigan History and the MSU Alumni Association, among others.
