He was recognized in the practice areas of medical malpractice law - plaintiffs and personal injury litigation - plaintiffs. Thurswell founded The Thurswell Law Firm in Southfield. He earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Wayne State University.

Only one lawyer in each practice area in each community is honored with this distinction. Susskind also was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2017 in the practice area of personal injury litigation - plaintiffs. She earned her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.

  • Kathy Browne, '87, and Dean Jabara are expanding their beautification/conservation work in Canton through a new residential conservation project to help families beautify their homes economically. Browne is the recipient of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution national conservation medal and the Canton Council for Community Excellence's highest award for landscape design excellence. Browne also has three plaques at the Canton Rotary Park honoring several organizations who have recognized her achievements. Browne and Jabara also beautify and educate in the downtown Plymouth area.
